Im writing this blog to you from a train somewhere in the middle of Colorado. Im in the observation deck and the scenery is truly breathtaking. Im on my way to move in with my friend Kay out in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Crazy huh? lol... We have been following the Colorado River for quite some time now. Were in this small town of Bonds and they have this old fashion water wheel that we just passed its so cool and antique looking. I wasn't quick enough to get you a picture though. Sorry.
I have multiple friends from Colorado and mostly people always tell me its so green here and there right it is green but that doesn't really do it much justice. Its more than that is beautiful. You know the opening of The Sound Of Music when they are showing the mountains and hillsides and its all green? Well its very similiar to that. Heres some pics

Its kinda cool to sit in here cause they have a lady that will tell you all about the area we are riding through like the history of it and point out animals and plants and stuff its neat. Its neat though its like scripted and so they have some jokes written into the script and the lady just powers through the whole joke and then chuckles and so its kinda funny cause no one realizes she is trying to tell a joke.
So there are some interesting people on trains. I think they are classier than the people I meet on the buses but still lol... Lets introduce you to some. Theirs little jamie (names made up) who is about 3 or 4. She goes on running from her father on one end of the car to her mother who is on the other end occasionally stopping to throw something at one of them. Then there is little Justin who is about the same age as Jamie. He reminds me of my cousin jack with the big baby cheeks. Too cute! He is not sure what to do cause their is so much going on so he starts on way then gets distracted and starts going another and then gets distracted and so on. lol. Then we have Laverne and Shirley who are a mom and daughter who are heading home from a 2 week vacation in some part of Colorado. They are sitting across the way form me in the coach seats. they are going to Omaha Nebraska so they have a bit of a way to go as well. Not as long s my 34 hour train ride though. They kind of remind me of ladies form I-O-Way though lol...(music man reference anyone?) they are way cute. Im almost waiting for them to bust out in song lol...ha ha ha...I love how sometimes I let my imagination carry me into these strange scenarios lol..
Speaking of imaginations. I got on at about 4:30am this morning and was to anxious/excited to sleep right away. but I finally fell asleep and I had a dream the train had crashed! It was just the last car and it had crashed into the snack car of another train. I even dreamt that this couple who were sitting a few rows in front of me had been in the car and died. And the steward guy had kept talking to me like we were really old friends. Weird huh?
Well thats all for now im gonna try and take a nap.
